A very hard day for the EMS Community! PHI MED 12 Memorial
I had returned home from work this morning and was preparing my uniforms for the services of the Crew of PHI Med 12 in Bryan Texas this morning not realizing that I was due in at the Fire Department in less than an hour. Unable to find relief I headed in with a heavy heart knowing that I would not be able to be at the services to see my friends, colleagues, and co-workers lay to rest some really good friends and Hero’s. PHI Med 12 lost all 4 souls aboard shortly after 0245 am on Sunday Morning the 8th of June 2008. They were patient loaded and were inbound from Huntsville Texas to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center with a Critical Patient who was killed in the crash as well. Although I cannot be there today, my heart, thoughts, and prayers will be. I have included a link to a live webcast of the memorial services to which I will be watching from a far. The services will start @ approximately 1pm Houston time.
